Feng Chia University (FCU) is an urban university in Taiwan characterized by diversity, refinement, internationalization and digitalization. Its objective is to operate in Greater China while forging strong ties with the world. The College of Business of FCU invites applicants for full time faculty (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) starting February 1, 2012.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree, and we especially welcome the fresh graduates with Ph.D. Excellent teaching in English is required. Successful candidates will teach the courses of the following areas in English:
- international marketing management
- international business management
- international financial management
- other related fields in business administration and economics

Introduction of FCU

1. No. 1 in teaching and learning excellence for four consecutive years
FCU’s e35 Project for Excellence in Teaching & Learning, for which this grant was received, is focused on student learning outcomes. In 2008, the e35 Project Office put into place a curriculum planning mechanism to strengthen student basic and core competencies, driving a comprehensive effort to achieve teaching excellence. In addition, a guidance system for career planning has been established to elevate the competitiveness of students in the job market. FCU has built a solid foundation and has implemented innovative measures and projects with great success. FCU has even become the focus of observation trips by a number of other universities seeking to learn from the FCU experience. Other exemplary characteristics that have received the evaluators’ comments are the emphases on student abilities and core competencies, freshman education and learning and career planning and guidance.
2. FCU ranks high on national competitiveness survey
Global Views Monthly Magazine once again joined forces with the 104 Job Bank to carry out the 2010 University Graduate Assessment Survey in Taiwan. In terms of overall performance, FCU graduates showed significant improvements in competitiveness, leading FCU to a strong No. 4 ranking among all universities and colleges in Taiwan. This highlights FCU’s leading position in central Taiwan, its outstanding administration and its high quality of education.
