The Institute of Communications Management at National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan is seeking applications for one to two full-time faculty positions beginning on August 2012. We are especially interested in the areas of Advertising, Media Marketing, Public Relations, and Social Marketing.

Full-time Research Scientist Position Wanted in Taiwan

Full-time Research Scientist Position Wanted in Taiwan Typhoon and Flood Research Institute (TTFRI), National Applied Research Laboratories.

Job Title: Research Associate

The HydroTech Division of TTFRI is seeking a full-time research scientist with in general areas of hydrological sciences. The successful applicant will work with researchers of hydrological team of TTFRI in delivering the advanced techniques of flood mitigation. The appointee will give assistance to implement hydro-meteorological simulations, construct experimental river basin related issues, deliver the geographic information system platform, develop numerical models and provide helps in part of the administrative work.

Qualifications applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a related field of Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering. Applicants should send a curriculum vita, a brief summary of researches, and the recommendations at least two potential recommenders to Dr. Hsin-Ya Ho (Email: hyh@ttfri.narl.org.tw).
